DoorDash Accelerates National Grocery Momentum With Latest Partnerships; Tom Pickett and Mike Stigers Discuss

DoorDash is achieving an increased presence in the retail space, accelerating its national grocery momentum with the announcement of even more partnerships. Through alliances with retailer-owned cooperative Wakefern Food Corp. and several other West Coast grocery chains, the company is helping consumers evolve the way they shop for groceries.

As a press release explained, DoorDash shoppers can now find ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Fairway Market, Gourmet Garage, and Dearborn Market as their supermarket retailer for on-demand, fast delivery of groceries.

Through alliances with retailer-owned cooperative Wakefern Food Corp. and several other West Coast grocery chains, DoorDash is helping consumers evolve the way they shop for groceriesWith nearly 120,000 new grocery items available for delivery, Wakefern’s family of banners will each bring unique value to DoorDash.

In addition, DoorDash has also welcomed other popular chains like Vallarta Supermarkets, New Seasons Market, Haggen, Mother’s Market, and Jimbo’s to its platform, bringing a wide variety of high-quality and specialty selections to consumers across the West Coast.

Consumers can order a wide variety of grocery items through the platform. In fact, DoorDash has more than 150,000 non-restaurant stores across its Marketplaces and Platform Services, globally.
