Eataly Appoints Tommaso Brusò as Chief Executive Officer of North America; Andrea Cipolloni Comments

An esteemed fashion industry icon is making their jump to the food industry. International Italian restaurant and retail group Eataly recently announced the appointment of Tommaso Brusò as its new Chief Executive Officer of North America.

I look forward to working with our team and stakeholders to expand the Group, always supported by the best-in-class operations for our community.”

Brusò steps into the role effective October 2, 2023. This recent appointment shortly follows the appointment of Eataly Group CEO Andrea Cipolloni in November 2022 and the subsequent senior management appointments of a new Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Head of HR earlier this year.

According to a press release, Brusò joins from sustainable essentials clothing brand Colourful Standard, where he was Group CEO. Prior to that, he was global COO for Benetton Group, where he spent a significant period of time in the United States. From his extensive career, he has gained significant senior leadership experience with retail brands and a strong track record of growth for brands across North America.

His role involves close collaboration with the new senior management who have joined the company in recent months.”
