With the Super Bowl quickly approaching, many shoppers are going above and beyond to bring the event to their living rooms this year. Now, consumers can get anything they need for the Big Game in one place, as Giant Food has announced a partnership with Procter & Gamble (P&G) to offer a new experience on the retailer’s website.
"We're excited to partner with P&G to offer our customers the full homegating experience—the ability to have fun while safely tuning into the Big Game from home," said Vice President of Marketing, Dyani Hanrahan. "We are also pleased to provide our customers the opportunity to donate to our local food bank partners and support hunger relief efforts as part of this e-commerce experience."
Consumers can find all the necessities from pre-game prep to post-game cleanup on the retailer's website and enjoy a variety of resources sure to make homegating that much more fun, according to a press release.
The site features exclusive sweet and savory recipes for Giant customers, created by celebrity chef and restauranteur Tiffany Faison. With videos that demonstrate how to create each dish, as well as a full shopping list, shoppers can order all of the game-day ingredients and have them delivered straight to their homes or pick them up with Giant PickUp, making experimenting with new Super Bowl favorites easier than ever.
The retailer's site also now features a unique and exciting Spotify pump-up playlist created by former Baltimore Raven Steve Smith Sr., which is full of hits ranging from Drake to The Weeknd.
In addition to these exciting new features, shoppers also have the opportunity to donate $5.50 at online checkout as a celebration of the company's 55th year of supporting hunger relief efforts by the Capital Area Food Bank and Maryland Food Bank.
