If you’re looking for a prime display of innovation in the cheese sector, take a stroll by booth #2135 at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association’s 2022 trade show. Klondike Cheese is taking to the industry event with a powerful cheese portfolio in tow, showcasing its expertise in product development. To see what the provider will be bringing to the show floor, I got a chance to speak with Marketing Director Teena Buholzer.

Teena Buholzer, Marketing Director, Klondike Cheese“Between the relevant speakers, live workshops, and education sessions, there are many opportunities for manufacturers to showcase what they are all about and tell their stories,” Teena explained. “The What’s in Store Live is a creative and great way to show products that you are trying to promote, and the New Digital Product Showcase will be beneficial for us also to talk about our new items. Since there has not been a show in the past couple of years, there will be all kinds of new items and excitement buzzing around the floor. We anticipate having a great show and meaningful conversations with business relations at our booth.”

Klondike Cheese will be highlighting its Odyssey Tzatziki Dip and Odyssey regular all-natural yogurt with no artificial sweeteners and preservatives, as well as its Odyssey Traditional and Peppercorn Feta, which took first place at the World Championship Cheese Contest this year. To give attendees a taste of its delicious portfolio, the cheesemaker has also mastered a traditional Gouda that will be available for sampling.

“Product development is an ongoing process for us,” Teena continued. “We have been successful through all these years with the consistent quality of our cheese manufacturing—we take pride in the fact that we craft the same great flavor and texture of cheese every day. Tasting the cheese at this show helps buyers feel confident that, at Klondike Cheese, we craft great cheese. We are always open to exploring new ideas and product lines to evolve with the changing markets. Presenting some of our new products at this show is beneficial to gain interest and get feedback in the market.”

As the company reunites with industry friends on the show floor, Klondike Cheese will also be celebrating another exciting distinction, as General Sales Manager Stan Woodworth will be receiving his Legendary Champions of Change recognition that was postponed from 2020.

It’s all waiting for you to see at booth #2135 in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 5–7!

In the countdown to this long-awaited show, keep reading the latest updates from Deli Market News.
