Kroger has been continuously building out its delivery fulfillment network, adding state-of-the-art facilities in central locations to boost efficiency and convenience across its impressive geographical footprint. As it executes such an ambitious expansion, the grocer has announced the official opening of its new spoke facilities in San Antonio, Texas, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Bill Bennett, Vice President and Head of E-Commerce, Kroger“We are committed to delivering a fresh, convenient customer shopping experience with zero compromise on quality, selection, and affordability,” said Bill Bennett, Kroger Vice President and Head of E-commerce. “From the personalized shopping experience, easy digital coupons, valuable fuel points, and fresh, high-quality products, to the refrigerated trucks, trained and uniformed drivers, we look forward to Oklahoma City and San Antonio customers enjoying all the benefits Kroger online shopping has to offer.”

Both of the new facilities, as stated in a press release, will serve as last-mile cross-dock locations, operating as a seamless extension of the regional fulfillment center in Dallas, Texas; deepening Kroger Delivery services to more Texas residents; and introducing the Oklahoma City community to a personalized, digital online shopping experience. Both the San Antonio and Oklahoma City spokes will operate in conjunction with Kroger’s Dallas, Texas, fulfillment center.
