Kroger continues to focus on upping its game in operation and intelligence, the most recent being the leadership of its subsidiary and data powerhouse 84.51°. Chief Operating Officer and well-versed 84.51° leader Milen Mahadevan has been named the new President of the organization.
In the leadup to his new role, Mahadevan served as 84.51° Senior Vice President, Head of Client Solutions and Capabilities, where he led the strategic direction and development of the company’s solutions and capabilities, as well as a key driver of the overarching strategy for the business.
Even before learning the ins and outs of 84.51°, Mahadevan served as the head of Client Solutions and the Service Line Organization for dunnhumby USA where he was responsible for best practices and innovation in data management, analytics, insights, communications, and media.
This focus, according to a press release, allowed Mahadevan to deliver scalable solution strategies for dunnhumby USA’s client base. The company also noted that he played a critical role in expanding the company’s foundational capabilities across markets, channels, verticals, and categories.
Now as President, Mahadevan will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, management, and vision for 84.51° to deliver best-in-class results for Kroger and its partners. Mahadevan replaces former CEO Stuart Aiken, who was recently named Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer for Kroger.
Is this latest move a signal to further growth coming from the company and the grocery parent it serves? Deli Market News will certainly be sure to share when we find out. Until then, we congratulate Milen Mahadevan on this next step in his career!
