As a resident of California, it is well known that when you visit Santa Barbara, one of your first stops should be at McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream—and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Adding to its range of uniquely indulgent flavors, the ice cream maker has launched Eva’s, a line of Super Premium pints that celebrate multicultural culinary traditions, and consumers can get it in-store.
“Eva’s is about celebrating culture—the gratitude we have for the larger McConnell’s family and the Central Coast community that’s supported us for decades,” said Eva Ein, Chef and Owner of McConnell’s. “The fondness I have for American traditions are often filtered through my love of the ingredients and flavors of my home country, Sweden. It’s that experience—looking at our shared culture, as well as the cultures that each of us come from originally—that inspired our team to develop Eva’s.”
Following McConnell’s 70-year legacy of making fine ice creams, Eva’s is made 100 percent in-house at McConnell’s Family Dairy in Oxnard, California. According to a press release, the new line is inspired by the culinary traditions of North, South, and Central America and pays homage to the people who bring America’s multiculturalism to life.
The new flavors making their debut in Eva’s Helado Artesanal line include:
All six pints in the new collection have an MSRP of $6.99 and are available at select grocery stores on the East Coast.
