My taste buds are already tingling with the latest news from Olli Salumeria. At this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show, the meat provider is showing off the growth of its fast-evolving product lines, Olli® Snack Packs and Olli® Antipasto Trays. In addition to showcasing its newest flavor, Pepperoni Snack Pack and Antipasto Tray with Salami, Cornichons & Onions, and Cheddar Cheese Curds, the company is also offering a first-ever preview of the newest additions set to join its portfolio later this year: Olli Salamini and Olli Salamini & Cheese Snacks.
“We’re seeing a dramatic increase in the number of retailers and consumers who are discovering that it is possible to make slow-cured nitrate- and antibiotic-free Italian salami in the United States without sacrificing the authentic taste of Italy,” said Oliviero Colmignoli, Founder and President. “Olli Salumeria is no longer the industry’s best-kept secret—so now’s the perfect time to leverage this momentum to take Olli to a new level of customer awareness, product trial, and loyalty.”
As noted in a recent press release, the meat purveyor is leveraging the show as the first phase of a multi-year advertising, promotional, and distribution initiative that will introduce its 100 percent antibiotic- and nitrate-free salami products to more retailers. Following this launch, this strategy will be the largest, most integrated campaign in the 12 years that Olli has been making salami in the U.S.
Olli Salamini and Snack products will be officially rolled out later this year and supported with a fully integrated marketing campaign throughout 2023. Attendees of the show this year have a chance to enjoy an exclusive preview of the Olli Salamini products, with samplings of the Original, Smoked, Pequin, and Bourbon flavors. Attendees will also be able to try Olli Salamini Snacks, which include Salamini and cheddar cheese curds in a convenient, two-compartment tray.
In addition, Olli is offering samples of its popular Olli Salumeria Snack Packs and Olli Antipasto Trays. Olli products can be found nationally at Walmart and on Amazon, as well as in select Whole Foods Market and Albertsons locations. To find out more, taste the products for yourself at booth #3239.
