Organic Valley Reveals Activation at Rockefeller Center; Jaclyn Cardin Comments

NEW YORK, NY
Tuesday, September 19th, 2023

If you haven’t heard already, this week is NYC Climate Week in New York. Many consumers would jump at the opportunity to celebrate sustainability, and Organic Valley is giving them a reason to. The supplier is bringing an immersive pop-up farm experience to Rockefeller Center to show how small organic dairy farms can help reverse the effects of climate change.

Jaclyn Cardin, Chief Brand Officer, Organic Valley“We are excited to be a part of this year’s Climate Week NYC, bringing a taste of farm life to the Big Apple, and are aiming to show how small organic dairy farms can help reverse the effects of climate change when consumers choose to support vibrant small family farms that produce nutritious, delicious food,” said Jaclyn Cardin, Chief Brand Officer. “We hope to spread the word with our activation at Rockefeller Center this week, where consumers can come check out some fun experiential elements and meet some of our Organic Valley farmers in the heart of NYC.”

The event will take place today, September 20, and tomorrow, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. It will feature farmers, Organic Valley cheese sampling, learning how to milk a {topiary} cow from a real farmer, a ‘pledge mural’ to commit to supporting small organic family farms, a vintage tractor, and more. According to a release, the activation is part of the company’s larger Protecting Where Your Food Comes From campaign.

Organic Valley is the exclusive food program sponsor of NYC Climate Week 2023. The company collaborated with Rockefeller Center’s gardening team and landscape design firm Manscapers to create a farm-scape that brings sustainable pastureland to the iconic Channel Gardens campus.

Cheers to NYC Climate Week!
