A newly formed alliance is resulting in a brand-new cheese offering, elevated by two high-demand flavors. Saputo USA (SUSA) has teamed up with Mike’s Hot Honey® to bolster its popular Montchevre goat cheese brand, preparing to roll out its new Hot Honey Goat Cheese to shelves this September. Ahead of the exciting launch, the brand is sampling the new offering at its booth during the Summer Fancy Food Show.
“Two high-demand brands coming together to bring an innovative new flavor to consumers is a match made in cheese heaven,” said Jenny Englert, SUSA Marketing Director. “The combo of this beloved sweet heat paired with our delicious goat cheese is unmatched.”
With “sweet and heat” ingredient pairings becoming increasingly popular across the category, the new product is designed to appeal to the more adventurous food and flavor palates, a press release explained.
“At Mike’s Hot Honey, we believe everything is better with the perfect kick of sweet heat,” said Mike Kurtz, Founder of Mike’s Hot Honey. “Goat cheese has always been one of my favorite foods to drizzle Mike’s Hot Honey on, so I’m excited for this collaboration to hit grocery shelves later this year so everyone can enjoy this delicious flavor combination too.”
In addition to its sweet new innovation, Saputo USA is also showcasing other new products during the show, including its Montchevre Gouda—a tangy and milder goat cheese twist on the traditional gouda consumers know and love—and Treasure Cave Mild Blue Cheese, a mellow creamier version of the brand’s blue cheese.
All of these items are on display at Saputo’s booth #138.
