Southeastern Grocers (SEG) is expanding its supplier base with the help of ECRM and RangeMe. The retailer will be hosting a virtual Diverse Supplier Connect event to collaborate with underrepresented suppliers, and in turn, provide stores with an expanded variety of products.
This event will serve as SEG’s second event reaching out to diverse suppliers, noted the company in a release. Currently, the grocer works with more than 270 diverse suppliers including women, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, LGBTQ+, veteran, and disability-owned businesses.
“During the upcoming Diverse Supplier Connect event, planned for July 19, participants will have the opportunity to engage with SEG buyers and category managers to share their company background, product information, and marketing plans,” continued the release.
Interested suppliers are invited to apply on SEG’s Supplier Diversity MarketPlace now until May 23.
