After announcing its Interim Chief Financial Officer in November of 2019, TreeHouse Foods recently announced the official appointment of William J. Kelley Jr. as its Executive Vice President and CFO.
Kelley joined TreeHouse in 2016 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate and Operations Finance in 2018. Before joining TreeHouse, he was Head of Global Audit for Kraft Heinz Company from 2014-2016. According to a press release, he spent two years as Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Hillshire Brands, a successor company to Sara Lee.
"Bill is a wonderful asset to our organization, and I'm very happy to congratulate him on this appointment," said Steve Oakland, Chief Executive Officer and President. "Having worked more closely with Bill over the last few months, his passion for our business and his collaborative approach with the organization are apparent. I'm convinced that my partnership with him, coupled with his thought leadership and experience, are the right fit to continue driving TreeHouse forward."
His career also includes working at USG Corporation where he was Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2010-2012. He spent the previous ten years in a variety of increasingly senior operating finance roles at PepsiAmericas. His earlier career service included key finance and accounting roles at Arthur Andersen and Cargill.
