12th Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival Announces Lineup


SANTA ROSA, CA
Tuesday, January 30th, 2018

The California Artisan Cheese Festival has announced the presenters for the Seminars and Pairing Demos, which will take place on March 24th of the festival’s three day run. Organizers expect that the festival will attract more than 2,500 guests. Instructors include the following:

  • Janet Fletcher, prominent cheese writer and author
  • Arnaud Weyrich, winemaker from Roederer Estate
  • Juliana Uruburu, renowned cheese expert
  • Rich Higgins, master cicerone and brewmaster
  • Vanessa Chang, American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional®
  • Charlie and Michael Kalish, Cheese Twins and Food Network celebrities
  • Michael Landis, former judge for the International Cheese Awards, the World Cheese Awards and the Global Cheese Awards
  • Debra Dickerson and Peggy Smith of Cowgirl Creamery

12th Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival, Beer & Cheese Pairing

These presenters will lead a series of seminars and demos—an exploration of the art of eating, making, and pairing cheese. The Seminars are as follows:

  • Exploring Your Palate
  • Get Fresh—Mysteries and Hidden Flavors in Fresh Cheese
  • Fast Food 1.0—The Cheese and Charcuterie Plate
  • Beer and Cheese Pairing—Sour vs. Hoppy
  • Taste and Judge Cheese Like a Pro
  • The Art of Melting Cheese
  • Cheers to Cheese (& Bubbles!)
  • Proof Positive—Artisan Cheese & Craft Cocktails

Following the seminars, two hours of cheese and cocktails will offer attendees an opportunity to decompress and process all of the valuable information instilled by the festival’s star powered line-up.
