Following the addition of Barry Card and Patrick George to its Vice President team, Borden Dairy is bringing two more execs on deck. Adrienne Chance will be Senior Director of Corporate Communications, and Craig Musgrove will be Chief Sales Officer.
The heritage American brand and leader in U.S. dairy processing and distributing shared the news in a press release, where they expanded upon the newcomers to Borden.
“Chance is a proven leader in the crucial field of communications,” CEO Tony Sarsam shared. “We are happy to have her as part of a team that will lead Borden to new successes. Chance has amazing experience in positioning a company and in growing an energized and exciting consumer brand, which is a perfect fit for the new Borden.”
Chance oversaw communications through 36 venue openings, two acquisitions, and a quadrupling of Topgolf’s workforce, where she led the communications team. There, she was awarded the 2017 Top Woman in PR Award from PR News for positioning Topgolf as a globally recognized lifestyle brand. She has also worked at Southwest Airlines and T-Systems.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Borden team,” Chance said. “I am excited to help bring this iconic American brand into the future and reintroduce the beloved Elsie to the next generation of consumers.”
At Borden, Chance will tackle internal and external communications strategy, as she brings the company’s message to consumers and strengthens the team with informative and engaging two-way communication.
In addition to Chance’s new hire, Borden is also welcoming Musgrove to the sales helm.
“Craig is an inspiring sales executive who drives remarkable results,” Sarsam shared. “Borden will benefit greatly from his sales, customer service, and leadership experience. I am proud of the top talent we have been able to recruit to our executive team, as we prepare to lead Borden through its next phase of growth and innovation.”
Musgrove has over 27 years of experience in sales and the food industry, and he joins Borden now from PepsiCo, where he was the Senior Vice President of Sales for Frito-Lay. In his role at PepsiCo, he was responsible for Frito-Lay’s business with Walmart, supermarkets, e-commerce, club, and natural customers. He held other senior sales and general management roles at PepsiCo, too.
“I am honored to join such a trusted and legacy brand,” Musgrove said. “Borden is on the brink of an incredible rejuvenation that I am very excited to be a part of.”
Congratulations to both Adrienne Chance and Craig Musgrove on your new roles at Borden Dairy!
