Fourth-generation artisan cheesemaker Carr Valley Cheese® has announced the hiring of Elle Fearing to a National Sales role. In her new position, Fearing will work alongside National Sales Manager Dave Christoff, developing new business opportunities and supporting current accounts.
“We’re so happy to have Elle on-board,” said Carr Valley Cheese Owner Sid Cook in a statement. “With her extensive knowledge of company culture, product line, and the cheesemaking process, she’s a fantastic representation of our company.”
Fearing grew up just down the road from the Carr Valley Cheese plant in La Valle, Wisconsin. She began working at the retail store attached to the manufacturing facility when she was in high school, continuing to work for the company during breaks from college.
Elle started full-time in National Sales with the company recently after graduating from the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse.
“We’ve had substantial growth nationwide and in order to provide quality customer support while expanding new markets, we needed to hire someone with a passion for cheese—and that’s Elle,” added Christoff.
In the short time she’s been in the sales role, the company noted, Fearing has traveled the country meeting buyers, conducting demos, organizing group tastings, and educating the public at food shows.
Congratulations, Elle, from all of us at Deli Market News.
