Out of the dairy aisle and into the… fire? Champignon introduces a new line of cheeses made specially to be thrown right on the grill. Rougette Bonfire Grilling Cheeses come in two varieties: a mild and creamy soft-ripened cheese, and a semi-soft herb marinated cheese.
Flynne Wiley, CEO of Champignon North America, shared in a recent press release, “We’re very excited to see our Rougette Bonfire Grilling Cheeses bring people together around the grill this summer. Now grill masters and cheese lovers alike can enjoy specialty cheeses in a totally new way.”
Mild and creamy Grilling Cheese can be put directly onto the grill without sticking or melting. Cheesemakers put a lot of effort into crafting a cheese that would develop a char-grilled and crispy outside and a deliciously warm and creamy inside.
The Marinated Grilling Cheese comes in an aluminum pan that can be placed directly onto the grill. During cooking, the cheese should be flipped to warm both sides and then can be diced, layered, or melted to compliment any dish.
Deli Market News looks forward to the reception of Champignon’s latest line, and even more innovation in the specialty food industry.
