Taking home four medals from the 35th annual American Cheese Society Competition that happened on Friday, July 27th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is Leslie Goff, Creamery Director for Consider Bardwell Farm.
“Consider Bardwell is honored to be recognized by the American Cheese Society with their recent wins. The team at CBF has been working diligently to perfect their cheeses over the years. These wins are extremely gratifying, proving that our hard work does pay off.”

According to a press release, the following are the awards that Goff accepted:
- Slybro: First Place in Washed Rind Cheeses, Aged more than 60 Days – up to 42 Percent Moisture –Goat’s Milk Category. The Slybro is made from Certified Animal Welfare Approved goat's milk.
- Goatlet: First Place in American Made/International Style – Made from Mixed or Other Milks Category. This mixed milk cheese is made with Certified Animal Welfare-Approved goat’s milk and cow’s milk in collaboration with Crown Finish Caves in Brooklyn, New York.
- Manchester: Second Place in Farmstead Cheeses Aged More Than 60 Days – Goat’s Milk Category. The Manchester is made using Certified Animal Welfare-Approved goat’s milk.
- Pawlet: Second Place in American Originals/Original Recipe – Made from Cow’s Milk Category
