Cypress Grove is on a roll this year. The Humboldt County-based artisan goat cheese producer has taken home fourteen awards this year.
From the American Cheese Society Competition, creamy and fresh Fromage Blance took home first place, flagship cheese Humboldt Fog took home second place in the American Original’s goat category, and PsycheDillic—which uses fresh goat cheese with dill and hand-harvested dill pollen—took home bronze.
At the World Championship Cheese Contest, the company’s Humboldt Fog won third place, and at the California State Fair, it won second place. At the Fair, Sgt. Pepper, Ms Natural, and Truffle Tremor also took second place. First place winners were PsycheDillic, Herbs de Humboldt, Fromage Blanc—and for the second year—Purple Haze, and Bermuda Triangle.
