Humboldt County-based Cypress Grove is introducing a new product format and a new take on its classic Humboldt Fog. The award-wining artisan cheesemaker is greeting the New Year off by adding a new selection of fresh 1 oz disks and a new Humboldt Fog Dill Remix to the company’s signature lineup of goat cheeses.
These two new products will make their debut at the 2018 Winter Fancy Food Show held in San Francisco later this month.
A new addition to Cypress Grove’s limited edition, handcrafted Humboldt Fog Remix line—the new Dill Remix features a distinctive ribbon of dill and hand-harvested dill pollen that, Cypress Grove noted in a press release, create a surprising depth of flavor with a tart and bright finish. This special new cheese tastes of buttermilk and fresh cream—with floral notes, herbaceous overtones, and a clean citrus finish. As the cheese matures, the company noted, creamline develops and the flavor intensifies.
Additionally, Cypress Grove has introduced convenient new line of fresh 1 oz disks. These personal-size disks are ideally suited for individual snacking and are a well-suited addition to any lunch, foodservice operation, or spread.
Fresh 1 oz disks will come in a variety of flavors and will be available this Spring 2018. Dill Remix will be available nationwide in mid-January to early-February, depending on region and retailer. Interested parties can visit the Cypress Grove team at booth #4821 at the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Food Show—held in San Francisco, January 21-23—to learn more.
