Debbie Seife of Norseland Talks New Products for Jarlsberg and Brunost Brands

It’s Jarlsberg by Norseland’s 60th anniversary this year, and to celebrate the company is launching a few fun new items to keep consumers coming back for more. At this year’s IDDBA conference is Houston, TX, I spoke with Norseland’s General Manager of Marketing, Debbie Seife, about what the company has in store for its banner year.

Debbie Seife, General Manager of Marketing, JarlsbergWhen asked about the company’s Jarlsberg Cheese Snacks, Debbie tells me, “We have a nice 6oz. bag with 3/4oz. portions of Jarlsberg in it. It’s absolutely perfect for on-the-go lunches, snacks, and picnic time.”

Also new this year is a Jarlsberg Fondue. Packaged in a terra cotta dish, the fondue can either be microwaved or put in the oven. Filled with spices and Kirsch brandy, this creamy new product is ideal for either entertaining or just getting cozy with at home. 

Last but not least is a new extension to the company’s TINE® Brunost collection, Caramore cheese.

“It has almost a chocolate color to it and has kind of a fudge-like consistency,” Debbie tells me about the new cow and goat’s milk product. This beautiful product is really one you have to see for yourself.
