DALLAS, TX
Thursday, September 1st, 2016

Mexico-based Grupo Lala has permanently secured its U.S. footprint and dairy market presence in its latest announcement. The company has created a separate branch for its U.S. business, called Lala U.S.

Toby Purdy, Chief Marketing Officer, Lala U.S.

“Our parent company, Grupo Lala, has a rich history that spans six decades, and Lala U.S., with our growing family of brands, continues to add to that story," stated Chief Marketing Officer of Lala U.S. Toby Purdy.

Lala U.S. will serve as the marketing arm for Lala and its brands in the U.S., headquartered in Dallas, TX. The selection of products include an expansive portfolio of the LaLa, Promised Land, Borden, Frusion, Nordica, and Skim Plus branded lines.

The company has launched a new website in tandem with this announcement, which is part of national company awareness campaign which began in August. Lala U.S. plans to strengthen its existing relationships with retailers and consumers through the move, as well as introduce the U.S. brand to newcomers.

Steve Gorman will serve as Chief Executive Officer of Lala U.S. with a background in transportation and executive roles with Greyhound Lines and Delta Air Lines.

As we reported previously, Grupo Lala announced it would be acquiring Laguna Dairy to further its U.S. presence. The Lala brand first debuted in 2005, and has been strategically growing ever since.
