The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) has a unique opportunity in store to start off 2019. All member company employees, age 40 and under, are invited to join its Young Professionals group on Friday, January 18th and will be able to take a tour of the Klondike Cheese Company and attend a networking event following the tour. Registration has opened and can be accessed at WisCheeseMakers.org.
“WCMA’s Young Professionals group offers opportunities for professional growth, both through industry education and greater connection,” said John Umhoefer, Executive Director, in a press release.
Kicking off at 10 a.m., the Young Professionals event will start with an educational tour of the newly-expanded Klondike Cheese Company facilities in Monroe, Wisconsin. Following the tour is a networking lunch at the Alpine Curling Club from 12:00 - 3:30 p.m., where attendees can enjoy lunch and try their hand at curling.
Registration is $30 per person and includes the tour, meal, and activity. Registration must be completed by January 15th, and while enticing, the event only has the capacity for 35 participants, so don’t delay!
