Laura Chenel Adds Garlic and Chives to Its Eight-Ounce Log Lineup

Just in time for the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, Laura Chenel's has unveiled the most recent addition to its eight-ounce log collection—a Garlic & Chives log.

According to a company press release, the new offering, set to make its debut next week in San Francisco, is a welcome addition to the company’s line, complementing the recently-launched Pimento & Garlic log—dusted with red and green pimento peppers—and the Original Plain eight oz log.

Laura Chenel’s Garlic & Chives log is made with fresh goat cheese, garlic and shallots, and covered in chives. Shallots add a hint of sweetness to the tangy zip of goat cheese, while the herbaceous taste of chives balances ideally with the natural spiciness of garlic.

The aesthetically-appealing Garlic & Chives log will elevate any cheese platter. And the cheese’s smooth and creamy texture make it an ideal ingredient to melt onto a plate of pasta or into a quesadilla. Retailers looking to boost sales this winter will find ample cross promotional opportunities for the cheese—beside crackers, charcuterie, olives, and more.
