Laura Chenel’s launched a new line of cheeses this week. The company’s Medallion Collection offers 3.5-ounce fresh chèvre medallions in five distinct flavors.

We’re excited that our new Medallion Collection of fresh goat cheeses addresses each and every one of these top-of-mind issues.”

The line is available in a variety of unique flavors, including:

  • Poppy Seed & Peppercorn: Crushed peppercorns liven up the fresh chèvre by adding a slightly hot yet sweet flavor, while the poppy seeds bring a nutty flavor with a light, playful crunch.
  • Fig & Grapefruit: The sweetness of fig pairs beautifully with the bright tang of grapefruit and that of the goat’s milk.
  • Sundried Tomato & Basil: The savory sun-dried tomato flavor is counter-balanced by the subtle basil and green pepper notes enhancing the clean, creamy mouthfeel of the fresh goat cheese.
  • Chives & Shallots: Shallots add a hint of sweetness to the fresh goat cheese flavor, while the chives’ herbaceous taste offers notes of springtime.
  • Original: Famous for its rich-tasting, bright citrusy tang, flavors are enhanced thanks to a careful, balanced amount of salt. 

The line’s small, disk-shaped format was designed to provide consumers with an accessible retail price for the company’s tasty, healthy goat cheeses, while offering convenience, a variety of usage options, and a wide array of fresh flavors for new and current chèvre consumers alike. 

Medallion Collection

Perfect for “grab & go” displays, the medallions’ easy-to-open packaging and small size make them an ideal snack while discouraging food waste.

Like all the company’s products, Laura Chenel’s latest line is made using only fresh, locally-sourced goat cheese from farms in the western U.S. The Medallion Collection of 3.5-ounce fresh goat cheeses will have a Suggested Retail Price of $3.49 per unit. The product line will be featured at Laura Chenel’s booth—#3681—at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association Show in Anaheim, California, June 4-6, 2017.
