Following its successful launch last year, Marin French has announced that its annual Summer Picnic Party will be back for another installation that the whole family can enjoy.
The Summer Picnic Party will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 11am – 3 pm on the grounds surrounding its reputed creamery located ten miles west of Petaluma. The event will feature 26 food and beverage vendors: selling and providing samples of new items and consumer classics.
According to a press release, Marin French has booked the following new picnic features for attendees:
Family-focused, interactive demos about cheesemaking, beekeeping, and garden art projects will be featured at the event from North Bay Children’s Center, as well as local author Frances Rivetti with a book signing. Local historian Kathleen Hill will have her culinary antiques collection on display.

Marin French will also host a variety of vendors with charcuterie, honey, crackers, dips, spreads, and oils to pair with its artisan cheese from the Marin French, Laura Chele’s, and Nicasio Valley Cheese brands.
The Summer Party Picnic will also showcase a “Picnic Plate” of assorted cheeses from the California Artisan Cheese Guild, proceeds from which will support the nonprofit and its educational programs.
Adult beverage samples will be provided by Carneros Brewing Company, Cline Cellars, Silverado Vineyards, and Sonoma Portworks. Tea & Trumpets will offer a selection of home-brewed iced teas for the whole family.
Tickets to the event are on sale now which the company expects to sell out quickly. Adult tickets are $12.50 a piece, with free admission for children 12 and under.
