Marin French Cheese Launches Brie Cuisine


PETALUMA, CA

Marin French Cheese is launching a new, fresh, single-cream soft-ripened cheese at the National Restaurant Association Show on May 20, 2017. Brie Cuisine is the company’s latest offering tailored to the needs of foodservice professionals and specially produced in a rectangular 2.5 lb sheet, sans rind.

With Brie Cuisine’s unique format, Marin French Cheeese hopes to allow for easy portion control and to help reduce food waste by eliminating the odoriferous rind of a traditional brie, which is often-discarded when used in cooking.

“In the kitchen, chefs seek not only superior-quality products, but those that can also simplify their job by saving time, reducing waste, and thereby saving money. Brie Cuisine is a product that fulfills all of those needs,” continued Chevrollier. “For the past year we’ve been using Brie Cuisine as an ingredient in many of our hot menu items sold at the café at the Marin French Cheese on-premise store. We’ve seen firsthand the ease-of-use of the product and how much the customers love it.”

In its press release, the company noted Brie Cuisine’s exceptionally creamy taste, texture, and ease-of-use. Made with all natural, fresh cow’s milk and cream from local Marin County dairies, Brie Cuisine is a must-have for any professional chef looking for a more convenient take on the high-quality cheese. Crumbled, diced, or shredded right out of the fridge or freezer, Brie Cuisine’s low melting point make it perfect for endless hot usage applications. Marin French Cheese will be at booth #8645 at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, Illinois, from May 20-23, 2017. Sister company, Laura Chenel’s, will also be there, showcasing its foodservice chèvre items: Marinated Cabecou, Chef’s Chèvre, and Original log.
