Celebrating its recent success is Marin French Cheese Company, which walked away from the World Championship Cheese Contest with a Best of Class Award for its flavor soft-ripened Triple Crème Brie with Black Truffles. The event was held March 6-8 in Madison, Wisconsin.

“Once again, we are impressed by the increasing level of competition at this highly-regarded event,” said CEO, Eric Barthome. “Our ingredients, rooted in authenticity and simplicity, are important components to creating award-winning products. But it is the skill and know-how of our cheesemaking team at Marin French Cheese that make us a strong contender in this contest.”

Triple Crème Brie with Black Truffles

Weighing in at 1 lb., this wheel has French black truffles strewn throughout and is made with cow’s milk and cream hailing from dairies within a 15-mile radius of the creamery. Smooth to the touch, rich in mushroom and sweet cream aroma, and in an irresistible naturally-ripened flavor, the handcrafted cheese makes for a great addition to charcuterie boards or an indulgent burger topping.

Competing against a record 3,402 entries from 26 countries and 32 states, competition was tight for the 1957-established, Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association contest.
