Looking to capitalize on the popularity of this dairy delicacy, McDonald’s has announced that cheese curds are now available in all their Wisconsin restaurants.
The offering is a first for McDonald’s, according to local NBC affiliate TMJ-4. Cheese curds initially made their way to greater Milwaukee-area menus, but are now available in restaurants across the state.
According to the news source, the curds are made with real Wisconsin cheese and are available in four ounce servings. Cheese curds are available for only a limited time.
The offering is a product of the company’s partnership with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, a farmer-owned, farmer-directed non-profit that focuses on increasing consumption of Wisconsin-made dairy products.
