Words and packages that convey natural and sustainable messaging carry more weight on the consumer-side, and Montchevre is racing ahead of that curve as it looks to continue growing its non-GMO program.

Marketing Manager Melanie Considine shared some of the exciting new things in the works with me while we visited in New York amongst the massive crowds of the Summer Fancy Food Show.

Melanie Considine, Marketing Manager, Montchevre“Within the past year we have added over a dozen non-GMO farms to our network of independent family farms,” Melanie shares. “And we’re really excited because this has allowed us to increase our non-GMO product line to our 8 oz fresh goat cheese logs.”

The logs come in several trending flavors, including:

  • Blueberry Vanilla
  • Cranberry Cinnamon
  • Four Pepper
  • Garlic & Herb
  • Natural

In addition to expanding its non-GMO resources, the company has also celebrated the launch of a Creamy Goat Milk Brie, packaged in a charming wood box, looking like a lovely gift for whoever gets to eat it.

Melanie explains that the cheese itself is naturally aged over time, coming out with a creamy texture that emphasizes the fresh flavor of goat milk.
