The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) has chosen its 2017 board electees, selecting who will lead the organization through the next fiscal year, which began July 1 and will conclude June 30, 2017.
“The WMMB Board of Directors is comprised of 25 dairy farmers who are elected by their peers for three-year terms,” the company explains about its election process. The Directors are then tasked with setting policies and procedures, supervising business affairs, and approving annual budgets.
According to a WMMB press release, the following seats have now been filled:
WMMB’s overall mission as a nonprofit organization of Wisconsin dairy producers is to promote the consumption of milk, cheese, and other dairy products made in “America’s Dairyland.”
