Two new delicious organic flavors will be added to Organic Valley's award-winning, 100 percent grass-fed yogurt line. Starting this July, Black Cherry and Peach Grassmilk Yogurt will be offered in single-serve cups.
"The 100-percent grass-fed yogurt cups appeal to people looking for premium yogurt with extraordinary flavor, nutritional excellence, and grab-and-go convenience," said Scarlet Paolicchi, busy mom, and Founder of Family Focus Blog. "They really are a creamy, delicious treat, and I just love them."
These new flavor profiles tap into consumers' love of fruit with organic black cherries from Oregon, and organic peaches from California.
Organic Valley's new Grassmilk Yogurt cup flavors will be available in natural foods stores, food cooperatives, and major grocery chains across the country with a SRP of $1.69, according to a press release.
These new flavors complement the company's current Strawberry, Wild Blueberry, Plain, and Vanilla flavor offerings. The company will continue to offer multi-serve tubs in Plain, and Vanilla flavors.
The company's Grassmilk Yogurt comes from cows that dine only on fresh grasses and dried forages–never any grain. The company noted that this creates a premium yogurt offering with flavor that reflects the “terroir” of 100 percent grass-fed dairy from the nation's largest cooperative of organic farmers.
Packed with 6 grams of protein per serving, naturally occurring calcium, higher levels of beneficial omega-3 and CLA fatty acids, and live probiotic cultures–it's easy to see why consumers love these yogurts.
The company emphasized that its yogurt is made in small batches, contains only clean, straightforward ingredients free of antibiotics, synthetic hormones, toxic pesticides, and GMOs.
