Piave's Chiara Brandalise Discusses New Product and Promotions


NEW YORK, NY

The Piave Cheese Consortium is introducing a fresh new Italian cheese to the North American market this year—complete with a new promotion entitled Perfectly Piave.

Chiara Brandalise, Director, Piave Cheese ConsortiumI spoke with Chiara Brandalise recently, who I met at the Atalanta pavilion at the Specialty Food Association’s Summer Fancy Food Show, to learn more about the Consortium’s latest offering and just what makes it so perfect.

“ We are carrying a new item: the Piave Fresco fresh one,” Chiara told me. “It’s soft, creamy, and has a milky flavor. It can match with different things. It melts very well in the oven, and you can pair with a very good glass of wine… This is a wonderful product coming from Italy. It’s a cow cheese.”

And to sweeten the deal for retailers looking to build brand recognition and drive sales, Piave is offering prizes to deli departments that erect the most Perfectly Piave displays.

To promote its new Piave Fresco cheese, the Piave Cheese Consortium is introducing a new promotional campaign entitled "Perfectly Piave"

“We are speaking about a new wonderful promotion—the Perfectly Piave promotion—that is coming on this year in the U.S.,” Chiara added. “You can win a prize doing a beautiful display with all the gadgets we give you. So, the customer can come and see the promotion, can appreciate the cheese, can see the different ages, can see the different gadgets, and the best display can win a prize.”
