Publix announced a new partnership with the Alabama-based artisanal goat cheese maker Belle Chevre. As of April 15, Belle Chevre’s four breakfast cheese varieties will be distributed in all Publix deli departments across six southeastern states.

The partnership is intended to reflect the growth and demand of artisanal cheeses while making gourmet products more approachable for the average consumer. Belle Chevre said its new breakfast cheese varieties bring a wholesome, Southern-made dairy option for health-conscious consumers. Sold individually for $5.99 each, the breakfast cheeses are:

  • Less fat per serving than cheese from cows
