Publix announced a new partnership with the Alabama-based artisanal goat cheese maker Belle Chevre. As of April 15, Belle Chevre’s four breakfast cheese varieties will be distributed in all Publix deli departments across six southeastern states.
"Cheese continues to be a growing business so we're excited to offer Belle Chevre,” said Publix Spokesperson Brian West in a press release. “Our customers are really acquiring a taste for the variety of options we provide."
The partnership is intended to reflect the growth and demand of artisanal cheeses while making gourmet products more approachable for the average consumer. Belle Chevre offers its breakfast cheeses in Coffee, Fig, Cinnamon, and honey varieties.
