Sargento Foods Inc. has announced several new changes to its employee lineup, promoting William “Bill” Bartnik as the new Vice President of Manufacturing in the Operations Division, and adding Cami Schenck and Phill Murphy to its Consumer Products Division.
Bill has been a part of the Sargento family for the past 16 years, starting as a Manufacturing Engineer, and then a Production Manager for the Shredded Cheese product line. Most recently, Bill served as the Director of Manufacturing Systems, where, according to a press release, he identified and led many continuous improvement initiatives across all plants. Prior to his role at Sargento, Bill worked at Oscar Mayer and Kraft Foods for 12 years.
“Please join me in congratulating Bill on his well-deserved promotion,” said Louie Gentine, CEO of Sargento Foods. “I am confident his collaborative leadership style and strong knowledge of manufacturing will continue to strengthen the division.”
In his new position at Sargento, Bill will be responsible for directing and coordinating manufacturing activities, where he will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering to help formulate and administer policies and objectives.
Cami Schenck, who has joined the company as Senior Digital Marketing Manager, will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of digital, mobile, and social marketing strategies designed to help build the Sargento brand and to achieve profit and volume goals. The company says Cami will now serve as the Sargento internal expert on all digital, mobile, and social channels, reporting to Erin Price, Director of Integrated Marketing Communications.
Prior to joining Sargento, Cami was Media and Integrated Marketing Manager at SC Johnson, where she was responsible for driving media planning and communications. She also has experience working closely with respective brand teams and agencies to develop strategic communication plans.
As the new Category Insights Manager for Albertsons Companies, Phill Murphy will focus on improving category management, customer planning, sales execution and financial results across divisions as well as the Boise, Idaho HQ Team. According to the press release, he will leverage his expertise in shopper insights, loyalty card, and syndicated scan data to continue to accelerate category growth at Albertsons Companies. Now reporting to Sales Team Leader, West, Brian Ginn, Murphy will now reside in Walnut Creek, California.
Previously, Phill worked at WhiteWave Foods as a Category Solutions Manager, working with the Albertsons/Safeway field sales team and developed and executed category management and sales strategies.
