Tillamook is introducing a new look for it’s existing super premium line of handheld ice creams, gelatos and frozen custards. Newly dubbed as ‘Special Batch,’ the line now highlights a cleaner, bold font, with packaging that emphasizes flavor. With 14 unique colors to match each flavor and a cohesive cream band around the lid, the Tillamook Special Batch line jumps out on the shelf as an attractive and delicious choice.
“As a farmer-owned co-op, it is important to us that our farmer-heritage is reflected within the package redesign, while still achieving the playful tone that is consistent with our brand character,” said Ice Cream Category Manager, Stephanie Carson. “This line is a celebration of specialty flavors made with real artisan ingredients so the new look puts flavor front and center.”

To accompany the new look, Tillamook is also introducing two new Special Batch flavors to tantalize tastebuds. The new flavors are:
Cardamom Almond Butter Ice Cream
Warm and nutty cardamom ice cream with a ribbon of rich, sweet almond butter.
Frosted Carrot Cake Ice Cream
The re-imagination of a classic dessert in ice cream form with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon, swirled with layers of cream cheese frosting and topped with walnuts.
According to a press release, Tillamook first introduced this line of what it calls its “super premium” ice creams, gelatos, and frozen custards in 2016. The company crafts each product with high-quality ingredients, including dairy from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no artificial sweeteners.
The newly packaged Special Batch products are now available in your local freezer aisle at a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.49. Retailers already carrying the line include Albertsons in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California, Safeway in Northern California, Pacific Northwest, and Phoenix, Raley’s in Northern California, and Kroger in the Pacific Northwest and Colorado.
