This year’s Winter Fancy Food Show, while offering a host of networking opportunities, served as an ideal launching pad for new products to the market. One exciting debut that caught our eye was Tillamook’s new line of premium ice creams, gelatos, and frozen custards.
Sibel Candemir, Ice Cream Category Manager for Tillamook, took the time to, quite literally, give us the scoop.
“We are launching our first super premium line of ice creams, gelatos, and frozen custards,” Sibel shared, explaining that, up until now, the company’s products were family-sized premium ice creams.
The line offers a wide variety to tempt consumers’ palates, with 14 flavors to choose from.
Tillamook also ensured that the texture would be just as versatile, with Sibel explaining that some options will be extra creamy, while others, like the farm-style gelato, will be made with buttermilk.
She added that the new line will also offer a much more indulgent dessert for the consumer. “Some of these will come in layered formation, it’s going to be a very different and fun ice cream eating experience,” she said.
