Think ice cream is only for hotter days? Think again, treat lovers. As the seasons prepare to shift, and the upcoming holidays are begging for a confectionary dessert to round out the table, Tillamook has unleashed two new flavors in Pumpkin Cookie Butter and White Chocolate Peppermint Bark.
“This is our first release of special batch flavors so we’re really looking forward to seeing how consumers respond to them,” said Tillamook Ice Cream Category Manager Stephanie Carson. “Many of our year-round flavors are great for celebrating the holidays but these limited-edition treats were created specifically for this time of year.”
The flavors are available now through December to spice up any fall or winter celebration, or provide that nostalgic taste that peppermint and pumpkin bring the senses. The company described the flavors as such in a press release:
“Pumpkin and peppermint are especially popular and we wanted to provide our fans with options that are uniquely Tillamook, made with the highest quality mix-ins like speculoos cookie pieces and rich fudge peppermint bark,” Carson continued.
These special batches are made with extra cream, reiterated the company, and not extra air to boost their tastes. The ice creams will retail for a suggested price of $4.99 to $5.99 per 56 oz container. Tillamook’s seasonal flavors are on shelves now in at major retailers in the Pacific Northwest, including Fred Meyer and QFC.
