Vermont Creamery Wins 7 World Cheese Awards— Bonne Bouche and Bijou Take Gold

Celebrating international recognition and several awards, including two gold medals, Vermont Creamery is coming home from the World Cheese Awards victorious on many counts.

A record-breaking 3,472 cheeses from 30 countries lined up in the judging hall in Bergen, Norway’s Grieghallen on November 2, according to a press release, with an international panel of 235 experts from 41 nations to determine the victors.

Taking home seven total awards at the annual competition this year, Vermont Creamery’s titles included:

  • Bonne Bouche - Gold
  • Bijou - Gold
  • Herb Goat Cheese - Silver
  • Coupole - Bronze
  • Classic Goat Cheese - Bronze
  • Pepper Goat Cheese - Bronze
  • Cranberry Orange & Cinnamon Goat Cheese - Bronze

This year marked Bonne Bouche, Bijou, and Classic Goat Cheese’s third World Cheese Award, and the fourth for the company's Coupole.
