What is a cheeseboard without goat cheese? With four flavors bound to delight consumers senses, Vermont Creamery knows how to make a spreadable cheese that will capture the hearts of Americans.
I recently had the chance to speak with Adeline Druart, President of Vermont Creamery, about the company's fresh goat cheese flavors, and how the company is reeling in customers with more than just the promise of delicious taste.
“Fresh goat cheese is how we got started in the business in 1984,” Adeline shares with me, going on to explain the new flavors of goat cheese Vermont Creamery is offering.
The company’s latest flavors include Clover Blossom Honey, Blueberry Lemon and Thyme, Smoky Pepper Jelly, and, to roll out to the marketplace in August, an Everything variety.
“Like an everything bagel without the bagel!” Adeline continues. “We really wanted to focus our energy into creating flavors that are approachable and that consumers are used to, but really elevate those flavors.”
Each one of those flavors is hand rolled on fresh goat cheese, and the company focuses on using quality ingredients, like it’s Clover Blossom Honey.
“We know that honey and sweet goes really well with goat cheese,” she explains. “And so when we look at honey, we really wanted to make sure that we used clover blossom honey and that we know where the honey’s coming from, so there’s a story behind it that we can trace back.”
With such delicious options to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one!
