As exhibitors brought their best and most innovative products to this year’s IDDBA, there was an even greater array of items and packaging outlined to match rising market trends. As Vicken Aghchikian, CEO of King Cheese Corporation, told us, the company had their own offerings and announcements at the event.
“There’s a big market out there growing, especially in organics," Vicken tells me as he takes a moment to step away from the show floor. "That’s something in the future that we’re also experimenting on, and trying to develop more organic products as well.”
Vicken says that the company originally offered California’s Armenian String Cheese and moved onto spirella products from there.
The company's current line of spirella products is both gluten and rBST-free, as the company stays on top of consumer-demand and interest.
“As opposed to our competitors in the market, we always tend to lean towards natural products,” says Vicken.
