Wisconsin is celebrating a big win, several actually, coming home from the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest with 88 awards in cheese and dairy.
Wisconsin won 74 percent of the total cheese awards for the international event, 59 cheese-specific awards, according to a press release, with the total of victories equaling almost 40 percent of the total awards.
Grand Champion of Cheese & Butter went to Cleveland, WI-based Saxon Cheese, LLC’s aged butterkäse-style cheese Snowfields™.

Wisconsin took a win in 15 of the 73 total categories, the third time this year it has has won national and international awards.
