The cheese-centric world has been presented with a savvy new tool to steer consumers through the vast collection of Wisconsin cheeses. The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) is releasing a newly updated Cheesecyclopedia®.
“There’s so much to learn in the exciting world of cheese,” said Sara Hill, Manager of Education and Training, according to a press release. “With Cheesecyclopedia, we’ve put together the most comprehensive online course available as a resource to professionals and cheese lovers everywhere.”
A free online self-study course on Wisconsin cheese varieties and how to profit from an investment in Wisconsin cheese, the new edition of the Cheesecyclopedia was developed for retail and foodservice professionals.

The WMMB noted that the Cheesecyclopedia is accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), enabling foodservice professionals who complete the program to earn two continuing education hours (CEH). The Cheesecyclopedia course can be completed for free by visiting here or here. 80 CEHs are required to maintain ACF certification.
