The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) is bolstering its regional marketing team by adding an experienced marketer this week; the board is welcoming Mike Edge as the organizations new Northeast Regional Marketing Manager.
“Mike’s extensive experience in food marketing will help our organization continue to grow stronger as we support Wisconsin dairy farmers,” said Rich Mende, Director of Channel Programs, in a press release. “We are very excited to welcome him to our team.”
According to the board, Edge brings more than 10 years of food marketing experience to his new role—including experience sales, business development, product marketing, and overall trade promotion at Serendib Imports, Inc. and Dietz & Watson.
As the regional marketing manager for the Northeast region, Edge will represent the Wisconsin dairy industry, farmers, and WMMB in the retail marketplace, using his skills and experience to develop, plan, and implement retail promotions and activities throughout the Northeast.
A native of Philadelphia, Edge holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing from the Ervian K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University. The Board also noted that Edge is an active member of the Food Marketing Association and the American Marketing Association.
