The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board’s (WMMB) members are serving up bold flavors and convenient new options this year. The non-profit promoter of Wisconsin cheese took to the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco this year with an assortment of interesting new products made from the finest Wisconsin dairy.
"It all starts with great milk,” notes Rachel Kerr, Public Relations Manager for the WMMB. “Take that and blend it with high-quality cheese making, and you have an amazing product that people can feel good about.”
Rachel notes the profusion of unique flavors and innovative formats that Wisconsin cheesemakers have to offer.
“We’ve been seeing a lot of big and bold flavors from a variety of our Wisconsin cheesmakers. For example we’ve seen hot Buffalo cheese curds, a taco flavored cheese curd—really unique flavors like a juniper-infused blue cheese.”
With a number of innovative dairy products to showcase, including Sincerely Brigitte’s grab-n-go salad toppings and snack sticks, and a full complement of varieties—from piquant young cheeses to complicated, aged selections—the WMMD should have no problem promoting Wisconsin’s best.
