Cinnabon® is partnering with Operation Gratitude for the seventh year running to send active-duty and veteran members of the U.S. military some love this coming Veterans Day.
“It is an important part of the Cinnabon philosophy to show support and appreciation to those who serve others,” Cinnabon President Joe Guith explained in a press release. “Through our continued fundraising efforts for Operation Gratitude we are able to spread warmth from our bakeries to deserving U.S. service members all over the world.”
Starting Saturday, November 7th through Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11th, Cinnabon will donate $1.20 to the non-profit organization for every specially marked CinnaPack® sold.
To support its efforts, Cinnabon encourages fans to use the hashtag #SweetSalute and send photographs of themselves saluting U.S. troops on its social media outlets or via www.OperationSweetSalute.com. The pictures will be assembled into the “ultimate appreciation montage,” which will be included in every personalized Operation Gratitude care package.
To date, Operation Gratitude has shipped over 1.3 million care packages to new recruits, veterans, first responders, wounded warriors, and their caregivers.
