What is Lahvash? Here is a little history…This unique flatbread has its origins dating back 5000 years. In fact, it is the first bread that mankind made…grinding wheat into flour with stone and adding water to make dough. Imagine placing dough into a fire pit…this dough ball would burn on the outside and still be raw in the middle. They learned hand stretching and flattening the dough, they were able to quickly cook the flat dough on top of hot stones on one side, and then flip the flatbread over with sticks cooking the other side.....
