As a millennial, I live for apps—they make everything so much easier! I’m of the mind that you should have an app for just about anything, and the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and the Center for Dairy Research are right there with me. The two associations launched their mobile app for the 2019 Cheese Industry Conference (CIC), which will be held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, from April 17-18.
“With an expanded exhibit hall and more seminars and networking events than ever before, 2019 CIC offers unparalleled opportunities for you to grow your business,” said Judy Keller, WCMA Events Director. “Our mobile app will help you navigate it all and maximize your time.”
According to a press release, the mobile app—which was sponsored by WCMA supplier member TC Transcontinental Packaging—is available now for download at CheeseConference.org or via your smart phone’s App Store. The app provides access to complete exhibitor information, a map of the exhibit floor, a list of educational seminars and Ideas Showcase presentations, and major event alerts.
Hard copies of the official program will be available at registration counters for all 2019 CIC attendees upon registration. Counters will be open Tuesday, April 16, from 12 pm to 7 pm; Wednesday, April 17, from 7 am to 5:30 pm; and Thursday, April 18, from 7 am to 6 pm. To avoid any lines, online registration is available now through April 8 on CheeseConference.org.
