Ice cream is always in season. No matter how cold it is outside, you can find me reaching for a creamy pint of deliciousness to get me through even the toughest days. Bringing some fan-favorite flavors to consumers across several key markets, Ample Hills Creamery has revealed two delicious new flavors with the launch of The Sunny Days Set.

Michael Zapata, Chief Executive Officer, Ample Hills Creamery“The holiday season always inspires thoughts of breezy beach vacations,” says Michael Zapata, Chief Executive Officer of Ample Hills. “We hope Kokomo and Coquito & Co. transport customers from snowy, chilly winter to tropical paradise with every bite. We’re grateful to partner with World Central Kitchen, an organization that provides relief and sustenance to many of the places this collection brings to mind.”

The Sunny Days Set includes four pints with two new flavors:

  • Kokomo - A house-made key lime ice cream with vibrant swirls of key lime pie filling and graham cracker pie crust crumbles, inspired by Florida's famous pie
  • Coquito & Co - A coquito ice cream made with cinnamon, nutmeg, and rum mixed with chocolate coconut cheesecake chunks, inspired by the classic Puerto Rican drink

The innovative new flavors were developed by Matt Scott, Director of Production at Ample Hills, and the intricate, tropical patterns featured on each item were designed by Ample Hills’ long-time Creative Director, Lauren Kaelin, according to a press release.

The set of delicious ice cream flavors is available online for nationwide shipping, as well as at all 11 scoop shops in New York, New Jersey, and California. The set is $59 and includes a special swag bag with illustrated coasters. The supplier also committed to donating $5 from every Sunny Days Set sale to World Central Kitchen, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters.

These mouthwatering options have surely enticed my cravings, and I’m sure tons of other shoppers will feel the same.
