Beyond Meat® Celebrates National Chili Day With New Recipes

Monday, February 22nd, 2021

The chilly Sacramento, California, weather is still stuck in my bones, and one dish my mom made without fail in my household growing up is chili. So, when I heard National Chili Day is coming up on February 25, I was beyond excited! Beyond Meat® is chasing away the winter blues as it releases new recipes consumers can tackle as they continue to explore the plant-based sphere.

Chili is a classic, warming dish that is savory and filling. By using Beyond Meat products, vegetarians, flexitarians, and health-forward consumers can add another go-to recipe to their arsenal. Whether shoppers are looking for a quick 40-minute or a relaxing—and salivating!—six-hour meal, Beyond Meat has just the recipe ticket to keep consumers heading back to the store to stock up for their new favorite chili dish.

In celebration of National Chili Day on February 25, Beyond Meat has released several new chili recipes featuring its products

Tapping Chef Charity Morgan, Beyond Meat’s Morgan Family Game Day Chili takes 10 minutes to prep, 40 minutes to cook, and serves six. The recipe uses two Packages Beyond Burger® patties (four patties total) and utilizes the classic Dutch Oven. For the recipe, click here.

For the home chefs looking for a more hands-off cooking experience, Beyond Meat uses 8 oz (1/2 package) of its Beyond Beef® to create a recipe for the crock-pot. Six hours is all consumers need for this warming dish that serves four.
