In a strategic move to boost morning routines, the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) has unveiled its latest consumer promotion, Mornings Mean More. This initiative aims to simplify the breakfast preparation process with quick, nutritious recipes featuring Real California Dairy products, catering to the evolving needs of busy families as they transition back to school.
“Breakfast is essential to starting the day right, and dairy is an essential part of breakfast,” said Katelyn Harmon, Director of Business Development, U.S. Retail. “Our Mornings Mean More campaign and featured breakfast recipes were curated to showcase a range of California dairy products while inspiring both families and individuals to create quick and nutritious meals to start their days. High-quality, sustainably produced California dairy products are perfect additions to make breakfast that much more special.”
Running from August 5 through September 8, the promotion targets approximately 1,170 retail locations across California, including Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions, and Safeway. The campaign will utilize a blend of in-store media, shopper marketing, and integrated digital efforts, including banner ads, recipe pairings on Chicory’s network, Instacart promotions, influencer partnerships, and sponsored social media posts.
Mornings Mean More, the centerpiece of the campaign, promotes a series of breakfast recipes that can be prepared in 20 minutes or less. Featured dishes include the Magical Cereal Milk Latte with Salted Caramel Whipped Cream, Chocolate Shell Cottage Cheese Overnight Oats, One Pan Skillet Breakfast Sandwich, and Black and Blueberry Ricotta Grilled Toast.
According to a press release, the Real California Milk seal identifies products made with milk from the state’s dairy farm families, who are recognized for their commitment to sustainable farming practices. This campaign not only underscores the convenience and benefits of Real California Dairy but also highlights the state’s leadership in high-quality dairy production.
